适应性强，适用于多种高钙原油；加剂量小，脱钙效果明显，不仅可脱除原油中的无机盐，更能有效地促进原油中的有机盐(如钠、钙、镁、铁、铜等)脱除，使溶于油项中的金属转移到水相中，并能大幅度地提高脱盐电压，降低脱盐电流，节电效果明显；原油金属含量的降低，可大大减少金属杂质在后序加工过程中在换热器和加 热炉管内壁沉积结垢，避免对传热的影响和沉积物分解引起的酸性腐蚀；防止含有金属杂质的渣油在进行催化裂化时催化剂吸附大量金属杂质而降低催化剂的活性或中毒，使轻质油收率降低；避免含有金属杂质的馏份油用作加氢裂化原料时，钙、铁等形成硫化物，沉积在催化剂床层上，造成停车或催化剂撇头。
