2、具有极强的捕捉活性自由基的能力，能显著抑制苯乙烯发生自由基聚合，提高苯乙烯收率和纯度，降低焦油生成量和装置能耗。
3、不含金属，对催化剂无毒害作用，对后续加工无不良影响。
4、主要用于苯乙烯、丁二烯和异戊二烯生产装置的精馏和回收部分（尾气压缩机）。
